Job Description:

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dependable Landscape Maintenance Team Member to join our team. As a Landscape Maintenance Team Member, you will be responsible for preserving and improving the overall health and appearance of landscapes by performing a variety of essential maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lawn Care: Mow, edge, and trim lawns to maintain a well-groomed appearance. Seed, fertilize, and apply pesticides as needed to promote healthy grass growth.
• Plant Care: Prune, trim, and shape trees, shrubs, and other plants to encourage healthy growth and maintain desired aesthetics. Plant new vegetation as required.
• Weed Control: Identify and effectively control weeds in lawns, beds, and other landscape areas. Apply herbicides and manual removal techniques.
• Mulching and Bed Maintenance: Install and refresh mulch in landscape beds. Keep beds free of debris, and maintain a clean and polished appearance.
• Seasonal Cleanup: Perform seasonal cleanup tasks such as leaf removal, snow removal, and debris removal to ensure a tidy and safe landscape environment.
• Pest and Disease Management: Identify and address common landscape pests and diseases. Apply appropriate treatments or recommend solutions to clients.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain landscape equipment and machinery, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Client Interaction: Interact with clients professionally, addressing their questions and concerns, and providing recommendations for landscape improvements.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and team members.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field.
• Knowledge of plant care and lawn maintenance
• Proficiency in the safe operation of landscaping equipment and tools.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Landscape industry certifications (e.g., Certified Landscape Technician) a plus.

Job Description:

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Installation Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Installation Technician, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our landscape designs to life. Your expertise in planting, hardscaping, and irrigation will contribute to the successful execution of projects that exceed our clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Landscape Installation: Install various landscape elements, including plants, trees, shrubs, and hardscape features such as retaining walls, patios, and walkways, following detailed design plans.
• Soil Preparation: Prepare soil for planting, ensuring proper drainage and fertility. Amend soil as necessary to optimize plant health.
• Planting: Select, place, and plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation according to design specifications. Carefully handle and position plants to ensure their health and aesthetics.
• Hardscaping: Construct and install hardscape features such as stone or retaining walls, and pathways, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
• Sod and Turf Installation: Lay sod and seed lawns, ensuring proper preparation and irrigation for healthy and lush grass growth.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain various landscape equipment, including but not limited to tractors, backhoes, tillers, and power tools, following safety protocols.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all installations meet quality standards and adhere to industry best practices. Make adjustments as necessary to achieve the desired outcome.
• Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients and project managers, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or questions.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, including landscape designers, project managers, and fellow technicians, to achieve project goals efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in landscape installation or related field.
• Knowledge of plant species, soil types, and landscape materials.
• Proficiency in operating landscape equipment and machinery.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
